Today is “ribbon cutting” day!

CUT THE RIBBON!

STRIKE UP THE BAND!

EVERYONE CHEER!

THE PARADE BEGINS!

Today, The Civil Way launches

the conversation to ignite a

grassroots crusade for a return to civility in our culture.  The Civil Way’s blog is a

community of citizens concerned about civility in our culture.  The Civil Way is a

social media “parade route” for a civility crusade challenging us to consider the

consequences of our words, thoughts and deeds.

Here is the pledge of Civility Crusaders:  SEMPER CIVILIS!  Always Civil!

*pop those firecrackers!*    *light those sparklers!*      *Let’s have a parade!*

“Aspire to decency. Practice civility toward one another. Admire and emulate ethical behavior wherever you find it. Apply a rigid standard of morality to your lives; and if, periodically, you fail as you surely will adjust your lives, not the standards.”
